Nothing says Summertime more than rosé wine, picnics and music, so, enter Pinknic, the worlds first ever festival and picnic dedicated specifically to rosé. Hosted by the founders of the ever popular La Nuit en Rosé, Pinknic anticipates over 16,000 wine and music lovers at Governors Island, which will be transform into a lavish blushy pink colored oasis.

Wine offerings by Château d’Esclans, Chandon and Moët & Chandon, will pair perfectly with Chris Sanchez's curated picnic basket creations, specifically for Pinknic. You may already know Chef Sanchez from NYC hotspots like Vandal, Stanton Social and my personal favorite, Beauty and Essex, so be prepared to chow down on delicious gourmet picnic favorites, available for American Express cardholders. If you don't feel like purchasing a basket, you can BYOB, bring your own basket (of food), minus the booze. No outside alcohol will be allowed and will be strictly enforced. In addition to the delicious food and drink, Governors Island will host a fabulous music lineup including Miami Horror, Tortured Soul, Claptone and various other artists throughout the two day festival.
Of course for something this fabulous, there is a dress code: All Pink or White. Now...what to wear, what to wear....

There are three types of tickets are still available; a standard ticket, a VIP ticket and an American Express cardholder ticket, with prices rising as the event date approaches. You can find ticket information here. The biggest differences are the priority boarding, VIP bathroom access, ferris wheel access, and Les Parasols pavilion access, a designated shaded area with lounge seating.
